So THATS how how the idea for Bionicle started....a legend was born
@moyamigeru3 жыл бұрын
That's right. There is also a testimony to Faber's sickness in the book Brick by Brick that tells the story of the LEGO company and includes a chapter on Bionicle

This video deserves a lot more views. I grew up with bionicle and Christian changed my life and made me a better person with his storytelling. As I grew up and dug into these toys that brought me so much happiness I realized that the community and history of it all was so much more than the plastic figures. It was so much deeper and so much more important than I could have ever understood. It warms my heart to know Christian still knows we care and I hope that the story of the bionicle can be told for generations upon generations. With our unity, we make it our duty to leave a destiny. ❤️🤍🤎💙💚🖤

Faber is such a huge inspiration to me, the Bionicle universe he created is so vast and beautiful, with many layers and perspectives. It's amazing how creative he is, huge respect to this wonderful person, may the legend live on forever.

Very nice conference. We Bionicle fans will make sure to stay creative and not be afraid of the sea. The cancellation of the franchise today may seem like our weakness, but it's actually our driving force every day. And we'll not stop telling and exploring the unknown corners of this story, because it's an incredible story. It's an epic work of fiction in a non-human universe, but it's speaks so much to our humanity.

The Legend of BIONICLE will never die! Phenomenal that it’s now being taught as a lesson for creativity. That’s the power toylines have!

Such a great talk. Not only gives a bit of insight into the story behind the Biological Chronicle, but also creativity itself

Bionicle is something I grew up with. Seeing the guy that invented it talk and tell his story is something fascinating. His worldview is a pleasantly optimistic one. Using our creativity, our resourcefulness to save the world.

Amazing stories and amazing change start with ourselves! So dive into the life giving water in the deep sea of creativity and change. Working together with Mr. Faber for many years - to me it was always learning to SEE the SEA, and you showed me the way, Christian! Hope to ‘sea’ you soon, and create!

Huh, I had no idea that was the inspiration, quite a unique start I must say. I can even partially relate as someone who used to have a tumor like growth in my brain (non-cancerous, it was basically blocking fluid flow so I would have looked like the Elephant man if it wasn't treated, also I was only a few months old when it was taken out) that was removed and I have a shunt in me that was put in to restore the fluid flow the growth blocked. (still in me for obvious reasons)
