The pencils are oil based and the colourless blender water based, right? Maybe you could try to use the blender with wax based / watercolour pencils... This should work better than with the oil based pencils ^^'

Actually, the octopus is an amazing escape artist and has been know to escape jars and the like. Any other sea creature might be in trouble, but Mr. Octopus is very intelligent :) very cute drawing Kasey!!

I got this box and I loved the candy that came with it. I just recently used the pastel pencils and they layer so well! I usually don’t use colored pencils but I would love to incorporate more of these in my art. I didn’t even bother using the blending marker. I don’t trust blending markers that come in art boxes, they usually don’t work 😂.

My blending pen didnt work as well with the pencils. But I did a art piece with water colour pencils I also tried to blend copic markers and it worked a bit. But water colour pencils are the best to use it with 🤪
