I used to work in an old estate house that had a whole room panelled in 200 yo Brazilian Mahogany that looked just like that! It was gorgeous!

I made it less than 2 minutes in and fell in love with that piece of wood before you even started to describe it. African Mahogany is, in my opinion, just about the prettiest wood on the planet. I’ll add a comment on the finished piece below this after I watch the entire video.

Mahogany is one of my favorite woods. It’s sad when you hear of all the mansions that had whole rooms paneled in mahogany and are now torn down. I hope most of the wood was salvaged.
