Cool video. I was a bit confused to what the toothpicks are supposed to be. Please forgive me, I live in Arizona where we don't have beaches or marshes. What are the toothpicks supposed to be and why do you use 5 minute epoxy to hold them rather than 30 second hot glue? I suspect a 'stronger bond while keeping the glue footprint low"

Exactly. For both those reasons. I didn't want the hot glue mounds showing under the resin. I intended it to be more translucent than it was. As far as what they represent...perhaps reeds or bull rushes. Maybe a bamboo type swamp plant. Just had the idea and thought I'd implement it. Happy it worked out. Thanks for the comment.
