8:38: Actually, I would argue that the indicator of that bonus is the rope that goes up through the rock ceiling. I remember thinking, as a kid, that soemthing had to be there, based on the rope that was there, but it never occurred to me to hop up there from the previous rope. And, if you look where the animation takes place, that rope is directly below you. It would have been nice to have an indicator before the platform, though.

Shame nintendo gives DK, Kirby & Pokemon 10% of the effort main entry Zelda & Mario titles get..very blatently. You would need like 5 of the most recent DK games jus to equal the content & effort from BOTW from like 6 years earlier..Pokemon Scarlet compared to TOTK in terms of content & effort is another landslide..but the games are the same price😂

I collect CDs and it certainly has felt that way for certain bands where they have such a huge collection of albums that i feel the need to collect all of them, only to then only listen to 3 or 4 of my favorite CDs over and over. I feel like a lot of the fun in collection stopped being about getting my favorite albums and songs physically and more about amassing the "big collection" that I've envied from others. One thing that helped me feel like it was worth it was archiving their physical aspects online. I have loved taking them apart and scanning the booklets, disc trays, and discs, and it gives me a whole new appreciation for these little pieces of art beyond the music that I've collected. I think the physical aspect of releases are very overlooked in culture, and this is my way to feel like im contributing to something greater with my collection. This probably applies to games as well!! All but the most popular games do not have easy-to-access archivals of their booklets, back cases, and cart/disc art, which are all very great pieces of art in themselves! I know it isn't much to refresh a passion, but it may allow you to re-evaluate and fall in love with a previously overlooked aspect of your collection.

I really liked the production and editing of this video, nice man. Cool to see and nostalgic. I think I must have unintentionally made this game harder on myself as a kid, I always played as DK whenever I could because he was stronger and could jump on the heads of certain enemies to kill them whereas diddy couldn't. I didn't even know about his ground pound attack. It never dawned on me "huh, diddy is faster and smaller"
