Oh Elley, I'm so glad I invited you to join the trip, for even though I didn't get to make it, you surely brought the adventure to me in this video. Thanks so much for that! You found an amazing amount of unbelievable Black Jack Turquoise! Those slabs are killer. What a day you had! I love days like this! I was so sad to miss this trip, for it was a bucket trip top of my list. I know, let's plan another one!!! This was one of your best videos ever, too!

Omg I’m from Yucaipa!! I didn’t know they had a rock club but I didn’t really get into rockhounding seriously until we moved to Oregon.

Great video, Elley, of a really fun trip. Thanks for the multiple shots of my red Wrangler in the background! LOL! 😀Guys, this young lady is even more lovely, enthusiastic about rocks, and SMART when you meet her in person! 👍 Such a delete to be around! Dan R.

It was so nice to meet you on our trip. Your video came out great and it looks like you got some great rocks. I’m bummed I did not know about the nuggets there; somehow missed them. But I’ve got a 5 gallon bucket of rock just waiting to be processed. As usual, more rocks than time!

Turquoise is one of my favorite minerals to find. I found some amazing pieces in Nevada. The best pieces I have came from an area north of Austin Nevada.

Question , I have some blackjack but cannot get the black to shine. I went from 600 to 1000 to 1500 and then Zam on a wheel. The black just won't polish. What was your process? Thanks!

Can turquoise be tumbled?

Probably not as it can be pretty soft, but I better let her chime in on that though

It’s not a great idea to tumble turquoise. Although it is possible. Some turquoise is tough enough to be tumbled, but most is too soft and will just deteriorate in a rock Tumblr.

Rock and Roll !!! Elley! Almost envious but Jesus Christ has taught me that I like Singing as much as I like Rocks ! And I never anticipated the show of approval and gratitude I have been receiving from the general public. Tears of joy flow while I type 🥲 Your the first one I have shared my joy with! But enough about me! Good video of my mother loved turquoise! She had a silver and turquoise ring on every finger! Honest! Anyways great video beautiful as ever!! HowRad
