Ok so the part I need to see someone work on happened off camera but you gave me a good idea of where I need to go from here. Thanks a lot, there are quite a few places selling replacement parts but this is the only video coming close demonstrating what needs to happen for the part swap. Thanks again!

Exactly where mine broke on both sides. Got Gen 3s but I would like to fix the Gen 2s.

hey man, you still planning to make a full guide on replacing these parts without the off-camera stuff? strongly considering buying them from your etsy there but i'm braindead when it comes to self-repair so i dunno if i can commit without having my hand held through the process

Just order your parts Update: I did have to modify your replacement parts. Where the cable goes into the the headphone, I had to dremmel the pivot point that the cable side goes on. Also a little out of the chunky block to route the cable. I just went slow and steady to match the original. Once I did that it worked great.

That was the most difficult 3 and a half hours ive spent. The last 2 screws connecting the head set together almost didn't fit into the 3d model I almost gave up lol One screw managed to go in and i can now wear my head set properly.

So you just use them with 1 screw in is what you're saying? I might have to do that because i stripped most of mine getting them out lol

Question about the wire on mine it gets in the way of the bit that allows it to be at different angles which makes it not go on my ear right do you know a fix for that?
