@@TechOdyssey hey wasnt expecting a reply! ok thanks for the heads up, interestingly i did just purchase the 600 gen 2's I really like them, but i find the left ear cup hurts my head a bit ( must have a weird head) so it got me looking at the 700's. I am not sure when the 700s came out exactly but could there be a 800 or 700 gen 2 out soon? if so maybe i'll stick with the 600s and wait it out

@@Zombie101 no worries. lol. I too reply to a lot when I can. I think the 600s are better and didn’t have all the same issues. The 700s are amazing for sound and gameplay though. If you pick them up I would recommend getting an extended warranty. Not sure on the 800s. They haven’t sent me anything yet. A new Roccat headset was just announced though so is feasible there might be something coming down the pipeline but I don’t know right now.

Bro, I literally went to Best Buy today cause I thought I wanted the the Astro A40. I was literally ready to drop $250 for them cause I’ve seen pro-gamers push them but luckily they have it set up to where you can try many headphones and these 700’s blew me away! They sounded far better than the A40’s and the quality and comfortability are amazing! The app of great and you can really hear the game so well! There’s so just so much for your money. The bonus is that since you can hide the mic, no one would know that they’re gaming headsets if you rock them in the street like they were beats. Hell, these sound much better than beats!

Funny because i was looking to buy beats and have had the stealth 700 gen 2 a couple weeks. The beats studio 3’s were $300 and sounded like shit compared to these. I dont know if i should be impressed by turtle beach or dissapointed af in beats

@@blitty6048 Beats make cheap headphones and up the price cause of Dr. Dre’s name behind it. There was kinda of a big deal made a little it a few years ago. Yeah man, these 700’s are super amazing for the price!

@@jorgiewtf i agree. Beats were trash. I like good bass it gets me going for workouts and ive heard great things about beats on that end. I went and tested them. At higher volumes they distort and sound like trash. ESPECIALLY for $300 bucks! I will more than likely be investing in skullcandy over ears for $100 less. And the turtle beach 700 gen 2’s are great. Heard they had some issues at release but so far so good. I want to love them, and so far i do. Hope it stays that way. Good price point for the gaming quality.. or even music for that matter!

I thought I was going to get the Astro A50's or the Steelseries 9X for Xbox but these are crazy comfortable. I'm stuck between these & the LucidSound LS50X $190 at Gamestop & Amazon

I absolutely love this review, it's getting my heart pumping and everything, I am. Overjoyed with excitement as we just ordered from best buy to get a store pickup, everywhere here it is ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK! is it that good that they are always out of stock? Online too which is weird. Ps4 and Xbox both stealth 700's. What's weird is that their is a bigger supply of the 600's and even on TURTLE BEACHES OFFICIAL SITE IT IS OUT OF STOCK. Insane!!!! @@Anthony-hx4on no regrets for me, they do disconnect a bit. Bluetooth is completely fine. Xbox one sometimes you gotta turn off headset and back on. But it doesn't happen often enough to where it's unbearable. I talked for hours and no disconnect. The sound quality is great too. It has many mixed reviews however so I would do research. I heard another pair of headphones that was about 200 dollars I think it's called ASTRO or something? Idk but it also has connectivity issues so I think it's the console itself maybe. Dunno about that though. People say it's too tight, I'm average and it feels amazing. I also love how when I put them on each day the ear cuff part I guess? It feels so cold and it's just amazing when you feel that on your warm ears.

@ yea I’ve done so many hours of research and I still can’t decide. My top 3 were the Astro a50 gen 4s (300), TB stealth 700 gen 2 (150) and arctis 7x (150). Lots of people said the astros were good but the price... and some say they have the astros but would much rather have the gen 2. But people said they hear static in the gen 2s and everyone in your party could hear everything in your room. So I’m just confused at the moment. I don’t even know why I’m doing this to myself. I’m trying to save up for the new console

I wish these things were louder i have the volume maxed out and they don't seem loud when playing games but when connected to Bluetooth on a phone they get real loud like music headphones

I don’t know how KZbinrs are getting theirs work, mine came dead on arrival! Also there is a whole subreddit been complaining from the same issue. The thing doesn’t turn on! And customers service taking weeks to respond and not even fixed or replaced or refunded! Google review, Amazon and bestbuy seems all scam and paid for -_-

Don’t buy the 9x. I bought the 9x about 3 months ago and two weeks ago it broke with out drops it. The right side volume is lower then the left. I tried to contact with them and they never respond to me. It still in warranty and they won’t do that for me. No customer service. Today my new headphone is arriving which’s this one in the video. So far so good but don’t know how the customers work.

Two separate mics, the fold down mic is direct to game chat, there is also an active mic in the shell when connected to your phone it uses that one so all you have to do is fold up the mic and itll mute party

I have these on ps5, its awesome. I can exactly pinpoint where the sounds come from, very good for fps games. Recently got the new xbox and got the xbox wireless headset. Such a bummer. It sounds ok, but it doesnt the same as the tb 700 gen 2. The TB is more accurate where the sounds come from. Iam trying to send the xbox headset back, and get these for my xbox also. Also just a review where the guy said in forza5 when you sit in a car you can hear the car engines in the back with this headset. With the xbox headset I dont hear that smh. I really dont get why the xbox wireless headset gets so much praise, they suckered me into buying it. It sounds like a 30 dollar wired headset.

Just bought the headsets for Xbox series x and for some odd reason while connected to my phone the audio seems to drop in volume and quality after a few minutes. Also when I use it on my Xbox series x, the audio is so low when on Maximum volumes. I adjust the volume from the headset not from Xbox because the audio section is greyed out.

The 700’s actually have a glasses stress relief system, you have to take off the ear pads and adjust them, I found this out about 2 weeks after owning them, after adjusting them it was a game changer for me, absolutely love em!

Dunno about the 600s but with the 700s you can take off the pads and pull a wee strap to adjust the pressure on the area where the arm of your glasses will be. The instruction manual doesn't really explain this.

How would you rate the connection reliability for Xbox? Out of 10 I had the 600 gen 2 and they were iffy sometimes when I would play, mind you I’m a few feet from my Xbox and they would cut out & I would put them to charge and they’d be fully charged and then crackle and cut out again

This device is a piece of crap! It is mad of cheap plastic. But what is worse, it stops working as others have reported in a few months. Happened to me too, simply stopped powering on. Appears the power button is extremely cheaply implemented. It gets worse! Turtle Beach’s support organization is simply out to lunch. They do NOT respond to any inquiry. All you get from them when you attempt to contact them via their support site is an automated email to flash the firmware. You cannot flash the firmware of a device which does not power on. I would recommend you stay clear of this product and the entire company as their support and character is lacking as they don’t even attempt to honor their warranty or provide any type of customer support.
