Great video...I have just used this on my metallic black 2007 Golf. Like the Toyota my Golf has a lot of deep scratches, chips etc. The polish has removed minor marks and the car has never looked so glossy & clear. But the deeper scratches remain. As a weekend warrior this polish has worked for me. It is very forgiving and puts down a layer of protection as you polish, saving time. The car is old, this polish has given it a new lease of life! As a newbee to machine polishing it was a simple, and I learned a lot. Thanks again

This was the kind of information I was looking for regarding this new product by TW.. considering the level of Correction you did it would came out amazing.. if you step up with one more level of an aggressive pad and use mizuna two-in-one or three-in-one. Thinking you would have got 90% out. But again for a consumer-grade one step! TW knocked it out of the park. Good to to see the polisher did good on side panels. I know Scott from DPC would not agree LOL.

Wilson, I am a driveway detailer and I have used the TW Hybrid Solution Polish/Wax, I find it amazing! I started using a Lake Country White pad, but it wouldn't remove a large deep scratch. So I removed the white pad, then I put on an Orange Pad, which worked better. I did remove the scratch into my clear coat. I used a Porter-Cable DA polisher, which worked well with this product. I am not a professional, but your car probably need some light sanding and or more aggressive compound? The TW Hybrid Solution products have worked well for me, which I started using about 8 months ago. Thank you for showing us this product...

This is the best review of this product that I've seen on KZbin so far. I'm gonna try it myself on my mother's 2006 daily driver Corolla. I'll film my results

Isn't that the one with the wax included? If so, would it be good for say 2-step where you first correct with something that cuts more, then finish off with the TW?

I am a huge fan of this product. I recommend it to my pals as a great all-rounder more as a cleaner wax/1&done'r. To that end, it is very versatile. A great base layer.

I recently polished my car using this product and like you stated it is a paint enhancement polish, albeit for the price a very decent one. However, it does work in full Sunlight and that I believe is the benefit in using it. It is very runny and that is the only thing I didn't like about it. Pairing it with the Ceramic Coating/Sealant yields better results.

It probably did better than expected as a one step under the circumstances, probably due to the high performance polisher/pad combo as well. Just looking at this in the beginning, I would certainly have recommended a rotary compound as a first stage, then finishing with this. Depending on the hardness of the clear, might have come close to showroom condition, and made you a few extra bucks. I'd be very interested to know the performance and durability of the protection, as Turtle Wax gets little respect in my shop, but if it holds up, I would give it a try. Good honest vid, Thanks!

Great video man. A real world feedback. Agree with you that it deepen & enhanced the paint. I just did at total paint correction on my 2019 Renault Grand Scenic (hard clearcoat).... After all necessary paint prep I cut with Ultracut by Carpro with SPTA microfiber pads(2 times w/ 3-4 passes per panel), IPA then finish with this Turtle Hybrid Ceramic Polish w/ SPTA finishing foam pads(2 times w/ 3-4 passes per panel).... Lastly single coat with Turtle Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating. It turn out amazing. Insane deep gloss effect w/ very hydrophobic properties. Thanks for the video brother. Keep it up.

Maybe a pad with a bit more bite will get even better results? I remember in one of the turtle wax videos there was a guy stating a pad with higher cut will go after more defects, but leave less of the ceramic component behind and vice versa.

hope u r well luke….watching this makes me think that for it to be beneficial u have to make 2x more passes at 1/2the speed....if that is an accurate perception then it hurts u as a detailer from the time standpoint. Brian at Apex had a giveaway of the whole line and lo and behold I was fortunate to win. the lexus had been prepped a month or so when I won so I have used the sealer and wet wax...but not the polish. I appears it would be best to "polish" using sonax cut and finish or similar then use this as a finishing polish that lays down protection(in a primer sort of way) for your lsp...do u feel results would be signifcanly enhanced applying/using it this way. Your thoughts?? be well/be safe

Will be using a S P T A HEX PAD with a Rotary 7 inch polisher . Is the Orange color mid cut Pad the best for the Turtle Wax Hybrid polish ? Followed up after with the Black polishing Jeweling Pad for a showroom shine . Will apply the Turtle Wax Ceramic coat after the 24 hour cure time to seal protection Your opinion Thank you great video again .

Great video, and you did really well giving a detailed explainatipn, something many of KZbinr colleagues need to work on, again great job. From what I have been learning about this TW HS Polish and wax, is yes you have to slow your speed, I'm inferring because it's intended to be a consumer grade level product, I'm sure it's only a mater of time before it's on Auto Zone's and Walmart's, etc. shelves. So I have yet to see anyone compare to a similar consumer off the shelf product, I know it has SiO2 protection in the formula, so present day it may not be 100% posdible to do an apples to apples, though in terms of correction/enhancement capanilities possibly some sort of comparison can be made. Food for thought, maybe a possible test panel type video in your future, or discussion.

@perfectshave853 жыл бұрын
Definitely enhanced the paintwork depth and gloss. Again it isn't marketed as a top tier compound or correction agent. One shouldn't assume it would do the same work as a dedicated compound. Would go very well after a full correction.

Depends which Rupes you have. Some Rupes stall, it's a built in mechanism for protection on curves and body lines while gear driven or rotary machines will keep spinning creating hot spots. But the majority of all DA's stall on purpose.
