I love this product! I have been using on tires and also every other black or grey rubber, plastic, vinyl, etc part on the exterior of my cars. It works as an amazing trim restorer on badly faded plastic and rubber. After 24-48 hours, I topped it with a Cerakote Trim Restore wipe and I am hoping that it will last for 6 - 12 months.

I use this product and find it to be excellent. As with ALL aspects of car care - PREP👈🏼 is the key. As demonstrated here get the rubber completely cleaned then apply the product. It lasts - really lasts. I obsess with my own ride [which is exposed 24-7] and find that an additional coat maybe[?] once a month is plenty. My method for application is spraying onto a closed cell sponge applicator and short haired brush. It is very economical and much more accurate and finite - no over spray. Good video here... Shine on you crazy diamonds!

I use it every week when I wash my car. The tires just keep building layers of solid protection and the shine becomes amazing. I can see how people say it disappears, because they didn’t spray it on and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. I’ve noticed that this makes all the difference. And instead of drying with a microfiber, use a tire foam applicator and even it out.

Get you a can of "No Touch Premium Tire Care" if you can. Apply with a microfiber pad, wipe down with cloth after five min. It's dry to the touch, fades down after weeks, not days. The TW is on the same level, an absolute pleasure to use.

i first applied this last july, using the same wheel/tire cleaner beforehand to remove previous tire shine. its been working better than any other shines I've used before, holds up better & longer to daily driving, weather & maintenance washes & I've only had to reapply 3 times in the last 9 months!

Morning, simple answer yes it does last; if prepped. After the tyre scrub to white suds, I tend to do a further step, that of an old cloth rubdown with a tyre buffing solution [as in puncture repair] to draw out any remaining brown. This I find gives a more sterile surface to bond to. All it needs is a thin applicator application and leave dry. IF you’re a fan of the glazed doughnut look, try a thin layer of diluted Pearl or the likes of Tyrekicker over the top.. Durable base plus top coat that will take a re-dress.

Yeah, except Carpro PERL never claimed months of durability. Their tire ceramic coating Blackout, and their newer Tire Coating Darkside do provide much longer lasting protection and shine. Darkside is an amazing and easy to apply coating.

I came across your channel as I have just purchased the 3 tyre products due to arrive today and have been watching reviews of them. I currently detail using predominately Mitchell & King products as their factory is 5 miles from my house on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland and they specialise in high quality waxes. I have been looking into wheel and tyre cleaning systems and I nearly purchased the Yum Cars system but thought I would try this first. I have liked and subscribed to your channel. I am a passionate detailer on mainly our own cars but have a few friends and family who use my skills to their advantage. I am looking forward to this coating as I currently use Garage Therapy Serum but after using it for 3 years I want to try a new product.

I went through a bottle of this and then switched to Gyeon and my opinion is this lasted quite a bit longer than the Gyeon which lost all its shine and about half of its blackening level at 1 week. This stuff looked pretty much the same after 2 weeks, although was not as shiny initially.

Thanks for the video. I have been interested in this product. I have tried a few of the tire "coatings" out there and I wasn't that impressed. I prepped the tires extensively with three washings with heavy degreaser and a fourth using odorless mineral spirits. I applied exactly as stated on the bottle. Looked fantastic for a month or so. Then the problems began. Cracking was the first thing I noticed. Secondly it looked white in spots and blotchy all over the tire. Looked horrible. This car is garage kept all the time too and rarely driven as it is a weekend sports car. I stripped it all off (a nightmare within itself) and went back to a traditional tire dressing and have had solid results. I have wanted to try this coating for a while now because I heard it was a really good tire dressing/coating.

If there's anything you could do different in this video is do not use a microfiber towel to apply a wheel treatment, always using microfiber pad and spray it directly on the pad not on the tire as it will get everywhere including the wheel wells in the rims. Use the pad like a professional would

Best thing to put on car tires is nothing..A tire dealer and others agree 👍 I don't like shine on my tires.. Just black..I know Armour All will turn your tires brown...Don't use anything with silicone,oils or petroleum.
@GainingDespair

I really like the new armor all ceramic tire shine, I do know the brand isn't thought of very well, but several of their newer products are solid. The ceramic windshield cleaner, lasts for months, the tire shine lasts a long time as well. It seems to help keep the actual tire cleaner, or clean for longer, and as someone who isn't a huge tire shine fan I like how it wears down, it keeps the dark satin look for a long time. Biggest con however is tire shine bottles seem to clog, the first bottle I just assumed was kinda a fluke, it clogged at about 75% full, I was disappointed, but I decided to buy another bottle figuring it was just a bad sprayer. Second bottle had a better spray pattern, so I felt pretty sure the first bottle was simply defective, until it clogged too. While I really like the product spending $10 on something, and only getting to use 1/4th - 1/3rd of out each bottle is too much for me to buy it again. Just picked up this stuff, if it at least acts the same, and lasts just as long I will be satisfied with it.
@TheCarDetailingChannel

I agree with you about the Armor All product. The chemical itself is great but the aerosol sprayer is absolute shit and will fail; mine failed with 2/3rds of the product left. What I did was I carefully pried the orange sprayer off with a screw driver and then found a nozzle/sprayer that fit the can.

I have not used the TW products. I now buy tire shine/protectant by the gallon. I have used PERL, 3D Tire, Currently using Optimum Tire Gel and now have purchased Blue Ice by Pro Wax, but have not used it yet. So far, I have to say PERL was my least favorite and Optimum Tire Gel has been best. Since I live in the States, I now try to buy products made in the USA...

Buying by the gallon definitely makes more sense if you're a high volume user. I love this product so it will be nice to see it made available in a gallon size. Before this, i used Meguiars Hyper Dressing almost exclusively. Only problem was that a water based dressing doesn't tend to last at all where i live in British Columbia.

Just one thing id recommend is instead of using TW tyre cleaner which requires using a lot of product, especially if you're doing all the wheels, just get a gallon of brake buster and dilute it 1 to 10 in a foam pump. The upfront cost may be higher but you'll be using that 1 gallon for a very very long time as opposed to the TW cleaner which will last maybe 2 sessions of tyre cleanings at most.

I Love turtle wax products but this is kinda subpar in my opinion, haveing to spray the tires before hand and let the product soak is time consuming plus you end up with tire shine all over the expensive painted wheels you JUST cleaned NOBODY likes that. they should have spent more time with this product and made it more applicator pad friendly, i find myself having to go around a tire 3 to 4 times just to achieve the same level of gloss i can achieve from one good pass with griots or carpro ext. if you like high gloss tire dressing this product is simply not for you.
