9:19 Sally doesn't shoot rocks, but barnacles. Barnacles are crustaceans, which attach themselves on rocks, boats or even other animals, like whales.

I like this show. Every generation gets their version of the Turtles. As a child I watched the 80's Turtles. I remember going to Nan's Games and Comics and buying the graphic novel in 1992. I loved the 1990 Turtles movie. I even bought the soundtrack. It's only a matter of time until we get a proper live action movie again.

In the 2012 series, they replaced Pigeon Pete with Mondo Gecko. In this show, they replaced Mondo Gecko with Pigeon Pete. Am I the only one who wants these two characters together? They could both work as comic relief.

In the IDW comics they do share stories (and I believe the Mutanimals are getting together again).

I know that Splinter, in this show was named "rat king", but I kinda want to see The Rat King as a separate character. I think that Bad Bernie could fit that role. He already looks like a rat. Or they could do the "I Monster" story, with Bishop creating a super soldier that goes rogue.

@@autobotproductions1244 Yeah, and it is sad. The 2003 version of the Rat King was my second favorite character of that show. My most favorite was the Garbageman and his nightmare fuel of a backstory that I hope one day will see the light of day.

I like to think that maybe the only thing changed by Raph was his dubbing over Splinter. And I liked so much episode 10 that I can't believe it's entirely made up. Look at the relationship between Donnie, Wingnut and Leatherhead (they're now my favorite characters 🐢🦇🐊)

I think there are a couple of other hints that this couldn't be a "made up" story, but the problem is that he is saying he is going to add all those elements in there, so I don't know what to think :p

@@TheTurtleNexus I get it. How do felt during the alligators' flashback? I was so sad because in real life a lot of people abandon their exotic pets (giving them a trauma 😢) and they destroy the enviroment as of them being an invasive species. But it's thanks to them that Leatherhead changed her mind about demutanizing 😅

As always, half convinced. Based on the fact that everything that is said is real and not the result of Raph's exaggerations... I liked that in this narrative arc the Mutanimals contributed to helping the turtles (except Rockstaedy, Bebop and Mondo Gecko. I don't remember the latter, why didn't he appear?) and also the really beautiful House theme. Of the East River Three (even if by rule there are seven, I don't understand why the anemones aren't counted) I liked Mustang Sally. A little for his threatening appearance but especially because he is voiced by Trejo. Unique. I was annoyed by the fight with Goldfin and the four turtles, with the fish winning. An unreal scene. You can't see four ninja turtles trained for 15 years lose against a fish that learned to walk a few months ago. With him doing jumps and moves as if he were a martial arts master! Not to mention the police inspector getting doused in pigeon poop. Is it funny? No! It's super gross! But maybe I'm too critical of this series. It's not the first time something like this has happened in the brand. I remain curious to see what they will do in a probable second season. Whether or not there will be the return of both Goldfin and Bishop. Personally, as a future narrative arc I would like to see Utron who with the little mutagen stolen from the turtles tries to create a group of mutants. I would see dinosaurs (which is also an excuse to introduce a being similar to the Triceratons), since "by rule" they are the strongest animals in the world.

The choreography and animation in this whole series is mind blowing. The fight in The Pearl between Goldfin and the turtles was just incredible. I really enjoyed the show overall, but I very much dislike the idea that a lot of it is either made up or embellished by the turtles. Total conceptual misfire there.
