I absolutely loved this tutorial, the instructions are clear and easy to understand. Although the lengths of extra string at the start and end are a little confusing, I still loved the outcome of my headband. Thanks!

I used this tutorial and altered the design a little to make a Baby's Headband. It's the first headband I've ever made, but it actually came out really well. I used 7 rows instead of 11 and used the basic loom stitch, since I'm really out of practice, it's also not as long as this (I don't know the exact measurement though). It's a pale lilac color. I made a crocheted chain in pale green then twisted it into a figure eight and used them as the leaves for a pink fabric flower. I stitched the flower over the crisscrossed part of the headband, leaving these cute little peeks of the wholes on either side of the flower... I think it came out pretty good for my first try. I''m giving it as a gift at a Baby-Shower later today. I hope they like it! :-)

I was at Michaels I the weekend and saw the loom kits and thought I'd give it a shot. I hadn't knitted before and was looking for tutorials when I came across this video. It was fantastic. I had a few little quirks with mine by the end but I couldn't believe how well it turned out first try. Thanks so much for the video. Only comment is that as a beginner it was a little tricky figuring out to do with the loose strings hiding them etc and not knowing what was safe to cut really close. I will definitely be trying more of your videos.

Hi Tiauna Brown ! :) You can use any size of round loom you like for this project because we just use 11 pegs to make it. Here we used the 41 peg loom because our yarn was very thick, so the 41 peg loom had more space between pegs than the others.
@belatrixstarr5 жыл бұрын
Tuteate so if I wanted to use a thinner yarn would I just do the same thing on a fine gauge loom useing the amount of peggs that would equal the same width?
