When sewing the top part, the ankle?- a pretty easy trick when pinning is to shove one inside the other Also I don't exactly plan on using this for a fur suit, I have a character who is a satyr and I needed to find a comfortable way to make good looking hooves, this worked really nicely because I was on my feet all day

God, idc if I’m late. I come back to this time to time just to watch you work your magic. All of your cosplays, on a scale from one to ten, are probably a thirteen. You have amazing skills, and you were the exact person who inspired me to make a fursuit. Chris. Chris, my Chimera (I suck at naming, tbh). He has the head and upper body of a wolf, a snake for a tail, some weird hands, and *hooves.* Hooves. The very ones you’ve made. I didn't have a printer to scale up my pattern, so I had to do it by hand. For those who are doing the same, I took a measurement around my ankle with an added couple of inches, halved it and compared it to the pattern. I was lucky enough to have a 1:5 centimeter ratio! Hope this helps!

For scaling up : mesure your foot, and you see the part under your feet ? Scale up this one at the same size as your foot :3 then you jave the gud scale 👍

but what to do if I want my feet to be much larger than my lining? Where would I attach the lining, would heel area work too :3?

@@FlackoWeasel you should measure where the front of the lining should be and sew it to the bottom. If you sew it at the heel the front will be loose.

would it be better if you used like a 1 inch think cushion foam? it seems like that would give it more comfort and support to your feet and then you can use the stuffing to even out the toe wedges and sides. it would also use less stuffing too. I love all your creations and i hope one day to be able to make my own doe sona or at some point commission you to do it(i have so much anxiety making even tiny things that i worry i'll mess up >~

Not really, 1 inch isn't much, it's much softer and comfy with a thick layer of stuffing under the lining (I tested it some time ago with foam). And thanks :)

Ik I’m late but you can put 5mm Eva foam on the back of the ear by tracing them on the foam.

You mean the pattern on my shop? it fits up to size 42 EU, but you can always adjust it by adding seam allowance. And these are made to be like slippers, you are not suppose to add shoes
