I purchased the full tutorial. Having studied the piece before and memorizing it, I can say that for me it was necessary to first play with a tempo at 40... and slower ... to get the right 3 to 4 rhythm for weeks. Because polyrhythm must flow throughout the piece... Approaching tempo requires to almost play effortlessly and without thinking too much. In the beginning I also needed to figure out which notes to actually play and I studied left and right hand separately. The piece is fun though. One very good advice here is to learn to release fingers immediately. That bad habbit not doing it has held me back for a long time. I am happy though that I can play it by heart now, and with a good tempo, and without straining the hands. But with 165 it is still rough and I would need to practice for such tempo a lot more. I usually go for about 125-135 when playing "fast" to my amateur standard. The "coda" is another challenge, and also the melodious slower middle part. Denis explains more in the full tutorial. There are many examples on KZbin, but also really bad ones, and especially 3 to 4 is not played well often enough, or there is no musical expression being caught in the technique -- But of course, I do not mean master performances. They are my dream...) Denis is a master. Thank you...) The tutorial is well received. 😊

Not sure what you mean by that. I know there is a version with accents for the pinky and thumb in the left hand always, is that what you mean?

Thank you very much ! Should I attempt this piece even if it’s not played at tempo ?

It’s quite normal to start working on a piece in a slower tempo gradually raising it in a process. But I can’t say whether you’re prepared for this piece or not, because I don’t know that. I’d say if you have never played some other pieces that require similar dexterity skills, it might be challenging and too time-consuming. In this case I’d recommend starting from some smaller etudes in order to build all the necessary skills first, and then approaching a larger piece like this one.

Firstly, I watched several general videos from other creators. My volume is set at about the halfway mark or two-thirds at most and their audio is plenty loud and easy to hear. Then I played this one and it's almost silent. After turning up the volume to max I can hear it softly. Your voice is very soft, the piano louder but certainly not loud. Denis, I suggest you try the same thing.
