This is the best marker tutorial I've watched. It really helps that you're showing how the markers work without trying to color in a picture, and this is the first tutorial I've seen that shows how to avoid getting the streaks. Thanks so much!

One quick question! Say you are filling a large space with promarkers. And you wanted to blend in that large space. How will you blend easily, instead of working really fast, trying to not make the ink dry? (I have a big problem with this :D)

thanks. by the way can you make a tutorial on how to fix your markers? my little brothers got a hold of one of them and pushed it in... and i can't figure out how to fix it! it's a glitter crayola marker. the tip is very similar to that of a sharpie but its longer. i use that one a lot for shading to and i can't afford to buy some new ones right now...not to mention i'm also at school rn and can't leave class.... so is there any tips u can give me on fixing it without breaking my marker?without any real tools available? thanks! ^^

Great video on using markers. I was taught to apply color in long straight, even strokes rather than using markers like crayons, tends to make the color more uniform and doesn't waste the marker....., but you have to work quickly so they blend on the edges. I liked the blender pen explanation, thanks.

Thanks. Can you help me know how to color? I have no dlue what and where to shade (make darker) in a drawing. I happen to guess and mess up making no sense. :(
@Kattvalk8 жыл бұрын
Try to imaging a light source (draw a little sun/arrow that you can erase later on the paper where you want the light to come from) an place the shading after that. The shading is darker where the light can't reach/opposite side from where the light comes from. Then it's also a lot of practice, and there's noting wrong with messing up, that's how you'll learn. Hope it helped :)
@DarknoorX8 жыл бұрын
This was brilliant how didn't I think of this before lol. But again, I am not exactly sure where the light can or can't reach most of the time, how to fix this problem?
@Grodman58 жыл бұрын
DarknoorX One thing you could do is to place an object on an evenly lit surface and then place a lamp (or any lightsource) next to it and explore with your eyes how the light hits the objects when you look at it from different angles.
