Check to make sure the batteries are new.

I had to buy new batteries, haven't used it in a while, put in new batteries, now my light doesn't come on. It came on after I put in the new batteries. While checking my pressure no light when raising my atm to a good position

Check to make sure the batteries are installed correctly and see the expiration date on the batteries. Although it's very rare but in some cases brand new batteries could be defective, so try a different set.
