Tutorial: Honda Accord Center Console Armrest Removal and Installation

Easy tutorial to understanding and straight to the point. After watching this video, I spent less than ten minutes researching and calling around the local,junk yards and was able to locate an armrest lid about 30 minutes away and for $21 including taxes and about a total of 20 minutes of labor invested I replaced my armrest lid and changed the armrest cover right in the junk yard parking lot in a few minutes. Just did this per your vid. Took like 10 min. You saved me some time. Only tip i have for anyone else here. Is to replace the screws in reverse order as removal and it will fit without fight. Thanks again

The leather cover on the top center lid of my 2014 accord sport is severely warping due to the florida sun. Needed ti know if I can do it myself. Was looking around at the console on the heck you replace the lid. I figured it was something hidden you had to take off.

I just performed this repair on my 2016 Accord, and I lost the right hand c-clamp when I was reassembling. Is there enough space in the housing that I should worry about the rod dislodging and the mechanism breaking?

sorry that I do not want to do. you basically have to remove the entire headliner because there are bolts that a holds down the the fin. in order to remove the liner you have to remove the entire b and c pillar

There’s an easier way to remove the back portion, just grab from the very bottom of it and pull it back out
