Hi, not long started ED and found the burning station rescues by mistake. Coincidentally I made a similar python build due to that being the nearest large capacity ship in a nearby system. My one tip would be to check the system first if in open play as damaged stations attract PVP gankers. I generally only play in open so had to stop these missions as the 3 or 4 rebuys were starting to add up. Great vid mate, fly safe CMDR o7

Update : I'm doing Vice-Admiral to Admiral in SOL right now. This method and build gives about 7% REP per run or 25% REP per hour at this rank when you consider the downtime to wait for mission refresh. I hope this information will be useful to plan your number of runs!

I do not have any Targhoid report tab in my GalNet, Is there a way to find out exactly if a station is burning? I'm new to the game and can't bare the courier mission grind.

@@Nihnii Sadly there are no burning or damaged stations at the moment and there's no way to predict it. Here's a direct link to Inara's burning stations page: inara.cz/galaxy-stations-damaged/ we had a lot of them burning a month ago after the NMLA attacks, keep an eye out on Galnet.

Dude as good as your piloting skills are I bet you COULD pulled this off with an Anaconda. Would love to see that. I know the post is old but I'm very new to the game. 3 weeks in. On PC with a HOTAS set up and loving it so far. Thank you for the vid.

Question: Do you have to be allied first with the factions that run the Karian burning ship before you rescue anybody? I want to avoid making 20 jumps to get there only to find out they won't let me rescue anybody because I'm not allied with them. Is this an exception because it's an emergency?

You don't need to. At least I was neutral with everyone when I did it.

Important note: Read the messages, before taking off, at flight, and before dropping them off,but after landing, because every mission can drop 100k credits for time bonus.... Found out after 700 missions..., before reaching my first 200 mill... Hurts a bit...

Since you don't have to accept or cancel that, I'm pretty sure you get paid anyway. The same way threats will attack on cargo runs even if you didn't read the message.

I think large capacity liners are great too, but agility is why I recommended the Python. While not having the best PAX capacity, it allows for fast runs. (Also, flying like that is a lot of fun)

The systems with damaged stations typically last a week. Sometimes there's none - like now. You may find an up to date list on GalNet news in game.
