Why there isn't "navigation window" ? I tried many times to download OpenLCA but I never had the window, both in zip or installing it

when you open openLCA, it should show an empty navigation panel to the left.

Struggled to launch install via zip file download, so went back to grab the installer exe and it seems to be working. Win 10, latest service pack, no idea what was going wrong with the first attempt via zip file. Install hung repeatedly prior to any initial prompts.

Hi, all of the databases for openLCA can be found in Nexus: nexus.openlca.org/ Here there is also a search engine where you can look for datasets

How do I turn my own files into a .zolca format that is compatible with openLCA?

once you are in openLCA, you can export a file in .zolca format by right clicking on the database and choosing "backup database". You can import files in many data formats in openLCA, not only zolca. So you could import a zip file in ILCD format or JSON-LD format, for example.

When you installed it as application, uninstall; when you unzipped the zip archive into a folder, just delete the folder.
