This was very good information. I wish I had known about this before. I would have gotten one for my PS4 pro. I ordered the PS5 version. Do you guys happen the know the fastening orientation for the ps5 yet? I’d like to visualize whether it’s going to be able mount vertical, horizontally or both. Thank you. :)

We expect the mount for the PS5 to be similar to the way the mount for the PS4 works. Meaning, the mount will be almost invisible and the console mounted vertically on the wall. It hangs forward about an inch from the wall. I followed instructions exactly. And I purchased a ps4 original floating grip for my original ps4. It still looks nice but not how it does in any of your videos. Not sure what I did wrong

Otherwise, a trick you can do to make the console even closer to the wall is to place the short rope on the three mounting parts and then place the longer one. We recommend the other way in the manual since there must be small space behind for ventilation, however, this trick makes the console a bit closer.
