Tutorial: How to use Akai MPD32 note repeat in FL Studio

I used this 6 year old video to get a MPD32 set up, that I borrowed from a friend.. But after that I've done the following: I use Slicex to create MPC style chops. Load my sample/loop into Slicex, Set up all my slices, and try to keep it to a maximum of 16. Then right click within the slice, on the word "Marker #1", a dropdown appears. I hoover to "Trigger Note" and then hit Pad 1 on the MPD. The drop down disappears. Now if you hit Pad 1, the first slice will be triggered. Then right click on Marker #2, dropdown, "trigger note" hit Pad 2. Right click on Marker #3, dropdown, Trigger Note, Hit Pad 3, and so on, till I have done all 16. Have fun.

I have the mpd26. My note repeat works but it's off beat like it's not syncing right. I just end up going back and editing with the chopping tool in piano roll

I set up the same parameters and when I select note repeat while recording or playing, no sound comes out at all from my pads, but as soon as I unclick the note repeat the pad work again but I have no arp or note repeat.. Why is that using Fl 11..AKAI MPK225

Dez A bro, it was the midi clock on the controller. they told us set the controller to external, I tried nothing . I swithed it to internal on the controller and boom! watched every video about it for nothing lol

oliver bosch you map the pitch parameter knob to the encoders on the mpd.

Ave Mcree for example i already mapped out my drums on the mpd and fpc and im playing the sample.. what buttons do i push on the mpd to go to the note adjustments ??? That way i can tune my sounds to the sample... Thank you

bro just change your playback tracking in audio to "mixer" from what you had it on which was "driver"

that delay is caused by the ASIO driver not being selected. however the clock in fl studio will register note repeat as "on time". If you want to get rid of that delay than use your ASIO4all drivers in your audio settings. but if you make videos like I do, it make it that much different to record live.
