Man I just want to tell you that you're One of a Kind, I'm a very curious person especially in my work field... searched all of the internet for this type of explanation content, could only find you. Wish I did before my Slap repair/biceps tenodesis surgery. Thanks a lot

A few things Incredible videos, 10/10 honestly. I do have a few questions however. 1. I noticed a lot of cracking when you were doing the movements and I feel like I've never had this addressed. Is this normal? Whenever we do warmups we rotate our arms backwards and forwards and mine crack soooooo much when they rotate up and back but no one else's seems to, is this like just a normal thing for some people? 2. I've noticed I can do this pretty much fine on the ground (still working on perfecting it) but as soon as I'm in the air, I have no control it seems. It feels like both no time to do anything and also no ground points to push off, cause y'know I'm in the air. Is there like something you do in your approach as you jump or is it just control that you learn over time. Thanks so much Isaac

Thanks for clear explanations, specifically for the slow-mo examples! How often do you recommend to practice those in order to make the swing movement natural and automatical?

Thanks for the great explanation! But should I release the retraction of the scapular, when I feel the big stretch in the front, so it unleashes even more, or is it bad for the shoulder?

Hello, this isn’t really related to the video, but can you explain the legs bending or trailing backwards when you spike the ball? Also thanks a lot for these videos! I notice that a lot of the pro volleyball players like Matt Anderson and Yuki Ishikawa does this when hitting!

i sent Isaac a dm regarding this question. The answer was to help propel the torso forwards, which is essential to hitting properly. If u watch his other video (the kinetic chain) he breaks down the 3 main aspects of hitting, hip to torso to arm swing.

Thanks for the video! So try to think of activating your scapula muscles when pulling your arm back? Did i get that right? Anyway, really appreciate your work

Patrick Zweifel Yes that’s correct. You need to get accustomed to feeling both so you know your joint is stabilized and your allowing those internal rotators to stretch. Thanks for the comments!
