Wish I found you sooner; watched tons of lengthy videos that do not even compare to this; so short and yet you go in depth in explaining why it works; why cant all similar channels be this concise?

The shoulder joint is the origin point of the arm which is connected to the body and since you generate acceleration from the arm the origin point should remain as stable as possible to get a solid contact during forward swing

Hi Isaac, first of all: great videos 👍🏼👍🏼thank you so much for the extremly helpful explanations!:) ❤ I got one question though: At 1:58 you mention: „ we are going to gently toss that elbow backwards or into external rotation…“ So this would be an active, conscious movement of the forearm? Is this just an element of this specific exercise here or is this concious „backflipping“ also part of the armswing while attacking? Looking forward to your response Greetings from Friedrichshafen ;)

Thank you so much, i have searched for so long for this explanation. People are talking about scaploading, etc as an solution to stop shoulder pain, but I just always put huge amounts of force on my shoulder and generated my spikes just with my arm. My shoulder is still hurting but trying your technique didn't hurt at all. I still have one question: Should I scapload / retract my shoulder blade? I heard that the shoulder scapular should be pulled very close to the ripcage by the muscles, when performing overhead movements. Is that true or should I let it loose? Edit: Thanks for Part 2, there you explained that you should retract the scapular. But should I release the retraction, when I feel the big stretch in the front, so it unleashes even more, or is it bad for the shoulder?
