Dawn C I didn't. I've never had a bad reaction to synthetic hair so I've never had to soak them.

Hi! I kept the style in for 3 weeks (only because I wanted to try something new) but it should last much longer with proper care. All I did was pineapple at night, and I just put braid spray and oil on my scalp. For more details watch the end of the video.

Hi Tess! Thank you for watching my video! If you think the deep curl hair is scratchy most likely you'll think this hair is scratchy too lol! It is definitely a coarser texture. I recommend you just go to your local BSS and open up a pack of this hair to feel it for yourself. I did not wash my hair while it was in this style because I didn't keep it in that long ( I wanted to try a new style) but I've seen videos on YT of people washing their hair while in crochet braids. I hope this helps!

Vera Rauch I didn't really spray the Braid spray on the hair that much! It may be the lighting lol. Try oil sheen if you think the hair is dull!

Katrina Miller the longer I wore it, the more it matted but it wasn’t too too bad. I made sure to cut the really fuzzy pieces and tangles along the way.

Absolutely! I would use smaller pieces if you wanted to do the invisible roots. To make it look more natural.

Jillie M. No I only separated the hair for the front. For the back and middle I installed the whole piece then separated them afterwards to make it look full.

well... I tried the crochet style with the wand curl shake n go hair....well...it was nice for the first three days but the hair started to tangle and it was just starting to irritate😣 my scalp!! so.... no more of that! ,can you recommend a different style &brand of Hair??

Try this hair! Or the xpressions cuevana bounce. Or try Freetress waterwave. It's all synthetic hair so it will tangle. There's no avoiding that lol. But I didn't think this hair tangled too bad. And I had it in for 3 weeks. In terms of it irritating your scalp, maybe try treating it with Apple cider vinegar to remove the synthetic coating. There are a lot of videos about it on KZbin!

You must bonnet your crochet the minute you start getting comfortable at home. My freetress Ringlet Rand Curl last a month. When you start tangling in a week. Your not covering your hair. I love this brand too and this is my favorite hair do

Tess Conyers I did not wash my hair while I had them in. If I kept them in longer I probably would've washed them at the 4 week mark.
