This same exact issue just happened to me a few days ago. After having it for only 13 months it finally bricked on me. It Froze up on me and restarted a few times. And now it won't even power on. It just shows the LG logo. I did some research and it turns out this has happened to many people before. Loved this phone and now I'm very disappointed. This is the first and last time I ever buy an LG phone.

Yeah, that's what I said too. Lucky I got mine replaced and it has been running very good. Try to contact your wireless company and they should honor you with a free replacement. Good luck.

I contacted LG directly and hopefully, they can send me a replacement. Now I don't trust LG phones anymore after reading so many bad complaints about them.

Nothing is perfect in life, look at Samsung Note 7 exploding issue, iPhone 6s battery recalls on some batches. I still love my LG V10 very much. My Samsung Note 4 batteries keeps on fail on me twice already. LG still going strong! Hope you get your replace soon. LG is well know for this issues since G1 and continue going on, some LG V20 are experience the same issue.

Same issue here on second V10. Original (bought directly from ATT Nov 2015) failed after ~ 8 months, ATT sent "re-furb" as a warranty replacement. Replacement failed yesterday. Out of warranty now (according to ATT) so they are no help, turned to LG, they are offering to warranty repair since the second IMEI is less than 15 months old. We'll see how long the "repair" lasts. Love this stupid phone but likely my last LG since the G4, V10, G5 and even the newest V20 all have this known issue. :/

LG is not serious company. If you cannot fix such an deadly error on several models over they years then stop making phones. They chose to fool customers instead of stop making phones but it is short term strategy.

thx for the tutorial. My LGV10 just started acting the same way with the bootloop. I tried your tutorial and I get to the screen where is gives me the option for no or yes to reset. I hold down the power button on yes and it still does nothing. how many times did you have to do this to get it to reset?

I have tried many many times. But it actually didn't really reset due to my LG V10 hardware failure. I just end up calling my AT&T carrier and I get a replacement thru Warranty Exchange Program. Lucky I have my Samsung Note 4 as backup phone. It take 7-10 business days to get mine replaced. Contact your carrier to get yours replace right away. Good luck.

My V10 Restarts. freeze and go blank. even after number of attempt it wont restarts. i don't known why LG had this issue of boots problem in both G4 and V10. i buy it used and without warantee it cost me 210 Dollar. and now i am sick of it.
