I have a question re the installation of the side rails. These rails are 3 3/4" wide. Do they mount on the door jamb b/n them or on the back side/interior of the jamb. If they mount b/n they in essence make my door opening 7 1/2" smaller. Please advise 3:44

+@chrisflietstra8821 Good Question. They mount to the backside of the jamb through holes that are later plugged up. Not on the inside of the jamb. They will not make the opening 7 1/2” smaller.

@@theconstructionzone7 thanks I really like the concept of these doors, but unsure of the installation. I live in Michigan and will have to ship them up. There is nothing like this where I live. It would be really nice if Tmax did an installation video

@@f0lkbluesmy tmax door just got delivered after waiting 10 TEN MONTHS!!! Also just note the freight and shipping will be $1400-1600 depending where you live. When it arrives you need to have your own forklift or 5-6 guys to unload it off the truck as the freight company they use does not have a portable forklift. There are no real instructions and I’m having an industrial roll up garage door company come install it next week. I was already quoted $1800 for labor.
