Courseplay is crazy powerful. Learning a bit with every video. I just learned how to get a truck unloading my combine the other day, it pulled 8 hours through the night, non-stop. Didn't crash my pc, filled my silos. Beautiful.

If you use course play to unload the trailers in the bunker instead of auto drive with the drive through method it will evenly distribute the length and width of the bunker and alternate left middle and right each time to fill it evenly and you won’t get the mound in the center.

Great tutorial as yours usually are, As an idea you could put a compacter on the front of the New Holland and a leveller on the back, then once full turn around and then switch to compacting (setting up both courses at the beginning)

Note: if you use a modded bunker and the walls of the bunker are inside the chaff area (and courseplay crashes into the wall), you can just make the working width of the tool wider. That way courseplay calculates it should be further off the wall, and it won't crash into it anymore

It was already mentioned that CP can load the bunker evenly, but: it can be created 2 parallel courses with AD inside the bunker, with 2 different waypoints, place them back n the same folder, and AD will automatically cycle them to unload.

I think setting you implement with a bit wider would fix the issue of running into the sides of the bunker that aren’t defined correctly

Nice. Very useful indeed! I was wondering about this a couple of days ago wanting to automate some compacting, tinking you had to record the going back-n-forth with "record course". This looks much easier then i though. Assume it will works about the same with a Closed one-sided bunker.

Good video !, like all your tutorials. Have you tried coupling the two implements, the shovel and the compactor roller, in a single tractor, one at the front and the other at the rear?

Yes put the compaction roller on the front it should work fine, but with just the blade on it does some serious compaction anyway, I’d suggest you barely need it

Is AD drive through tipper detecting the start of the CP compacting course as he is starting his unload too far into the bunker. Maybe start the CP start closer to the entrance of the bunker.

I tried lastnight and the silage bunk button would not highlight for me. I used the same trench and same blade that you have. The button wouldn't even let me select it.

What version of Courseplay are you using? Mine doesn't have the "mode" option. Also, do you know if there is a way to get it to drive forward into the bunker? I want to put the leveler on the front but no matter what I do, it always wants to back into the bunker. Even if I never select the "reverse" button under course recording, it has no effect on the course. It always wants to back into the bunker.

I used the latest stable version that’s in the mod hub, the reverse button works fine, you just have to make sure you reverse the tractor for that part of the course. But I’ll do a couple of tests and post a vid if it works

@@TheFarmSimGuy So I did some more experimenting and also found the info on the Courseplay Github and it looks like it only supports placing the leveler on the back of the tractor and you must back into the silo. So I wasn't doing anything wrong, this is design intent. I know I am nitpicking, but it is annoying. I should be able to place my leveler on the front of the tractor. I am sure there is a reason it needs to be this way, but it seems unrealistic to me. That said, I can tolerate it as I sometimes don't want to level and compact manually and other than needing to back into the silo this works well. Thanks for the tutorial video.

Yes Courseplay has a facility for loading from a bunker

Hey can anyone tell me if you can use the blade when you have the trailers driving through the bunker? I’m currently using the roller and it doesn’t level very well plus you get a lot of chaff pushed out the front of the bunker. Ps don’t enough room to reverse trailers…

You can but after the first couple of loads the blade will pile up the exit with chaff blocking it and stopping the tractor driving through

Some tractors won’t show it try a different one and make sure your version of courseplay is up to date 👍

Hi Farmsim Guy, nice tutorial i must say. But i do have a question, im going to try and set up the second course, whit the leveler, but im wondering what will happend if i do a drive thrue unload? I cant have filling up on CP becuse then it will make a wall and the traktor that unloads cant drive thrue, but what happends if i do the leveling, will it keep the grass inside ore push it outside?

It should keep levelling it across the bunker, but you might need to manage it a little, I tend to get trailers stuck if the leveller hasn't had a chance to be flattened

Ive tried every step of this tutorial for bunker filling (both ways you did) and it still wont work for me. Ive not used any mods either. My tractor jaunts off on a merry little trip around Mercury farm or drives right into the bunker wall. Frustrating is not the word!
