I know its been over a year but is there a way to take specific colors on an avatar's model and change them. Like if I wanted to change the white on the part of the texture in the top right(of the 2d texture) to red without accidentally messing with the black.

for newer version of blender like 4.0 dont work very well the cats plugin only really works good with 3.0 to 3.6 of blender because of it not being updated you dont really need the plugin go to file on top of the top left of your screen in blender then hit file then import then there should be a fbx format you can select what modal please make shore you delete the stuff in scene first tho i will be making a video soon thats exspains everything i did this video like 3 years ago and its still a bit out of date i did not even have a gpu i was making this video on hp all in one lol

you dont need modal to do this any modal works depending on what avatar it is but if ya want it thats different

Most likely the project does not have a fbx that would mean it could be under a different file format or it's just a scene without the avatar it depends on what Avatar model you're working with

No fdx extension files on my model. I have a blend file extension. Had to review several times; searched all assets in Unity and using file explorer.

Most likely the model you're using does not have a material then after that I can't really help you there I just know if the triangle is there that means there's a material there that you can edit

Hey, it appears like I am unable to edit the textures, despite rebooting blender and moving through the process again. I am able to use the fill bucket on the textures, but not the paint tool.

@@KingRevvi I did manage to fix some things, however it only applied to certain parts of the model. I moved to substance painter to avoid the hassle, just sucks how expensive it is. Good thing there is a free trial.
