NOTICE

Software needed:
Blender 2.69: download.blender.org/release/B...
Instructions:
1.) Download and unzip the template files
2.) Follow the instructions.
3.) Enjoy your own Warner Bros. Intro
Blender tips:
Right click to select
Shift + Right click to select multiple objects
Left click to confirm changes
TAB to toggle edit mode

FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE WANTING TO HAVE THEIR MAIN TITLE TO FIT IN THE SHIELD. If you want to be Ballyweg styled, then press tab then A to make it orange, and then Shift W to have a nice warp. But, if you want to be like Warner Bros., press tab then A to make it orange, then you have to press Ctrl/command, num key 7 or View, bottom. Then Shift W. Hope this helps!

when i press ALT+C i find that the rectangle of blender where i am editing the text changes to a very small size and I am not able to return to the other position

The background is called Sky and is an option in the World settings. Google Blender backgrounds and you should find plenty of tutorials regarding it. :-)

Great tutorial, but when I got to warp the text around the logo after pushing Shift W it doesn't warp the way yours does, if i move the mouse from either side of the screen the text seems to become smaller and moves to the right of the screen where it rotates around itself..? Do you know how to fix this?

That sounds strange. 1. Are you using the newest blender version? 2. Be sure to be in camera view (NUM0).

I've got every thing correct as you did but I have been getting this problem with the text at the bottom, it doesn't fade in at the end the WB symbol just goes right through it, also to get rid of all the work with the letters ivipid.com gave out a free WB font

Did everything right up to this point again...STILL having trouble with the shift+w routine. What happens is it gives me the shape of a frown face instead of doing what it's suppose to do in the vid. Any suggestions? Would LOVE to get this done b4 dec. 1st.

Is there any way to speed up the animation process? It takes 5 minutes to put it together and after selecting "animation" and after 10 hours, it was only at frame 80! Ugh....When I did the 20th Century intro it only took about 8 hours to process! Any suggestions? Thanks

very nice TuT but unfortunately I can not bevel the second letter (N) on the bottom right. The lettering in the middle cannot be warped like you. rendering is not possible, instead of the color gold comes black and red

Look into "Remove Doubles" on your text meshes. I was getting black artifacts and did that, and it fixed it!

Using Blender 2.69, you can bend/curve/warp using Shift + W. If you change views (using numpad) you can warp over different axis.

Yes, they changed some things in the newer Blender version. Make sure you use Blender 2.69.

Ethan Rouse Universal2 is Blender only too. Then there's this one, Universal and Fox. The new command would be Add Modifier -> Simple Deform -> Bend.

Ethan Rouse In the toolbar where the first button is a camera, the seventh is a wrench. That's the one. But I would still recommend using the older Blender version with this tutorial.
