Can a hat be done with this pattern, and do you have a tutorial for it?
@TuulaMaaria2 жыл бұрын
This stitch would be great for hats but the stitch needs to be altered for decreases. Or it would work to make the top of a hat with decreases using a stitch that is easier to decrease like basic double-crochets. I don't have a tutorial for a hat in this stitch but I do have one using the normal V-stitch kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmiVoGuVjtCEg6M

This is a great stitch. I have used it before to make a pot holder, using thick yarn.

It works great for that too! Maybe in very chunky yarn could even make a little bedside rug using this stitch.

Love this stitch. Missed seeing your videos. Where have you been? Working full time here now. I thought about emailing you then it said only for business and I just wanted to see how you were doing.

Thank you for your concern! Partly I didn't have time because I moved house but partly because I had not had a break from making videos in 5 years, just needed a break! That email can be used for other things too. Or you can join my Facebook group, it's more personal than KZbin, facebook.com/groups/crochet.crochet

Tuula..😢 I’m pulling my hair out!!! I’m trying to do a thermal stitch project in BLACK yarn 🧶 color is a MUST… and I simply CANT get my first row correct… I keep pulling it out bcuz the back bumps aren’t cooperating!!😮I’m working under a MAGNIFIED LAMP ( I have very poor vision) but no matter how much I try .. it’s just not happening…but you need to start with the back bumps… what can I do to save my hair/sanity? I have been very careful to keep my stitches on loose side so I can enter the stitches more easily… is there anything you can suggest? Ty in advance

This comment is on a video about the cluster V-stitch. So you are talking about a different stitch. There are many different thermal stitches, I wonder which type you are working on.
