Tuula! Thank you!!! I only learned to crochet about 2 months ago and started with amigurumi. I made 11 chickens haha, and then started making other things once I felt more confident. Earlier this month I finally learned how to make a granny square, which was very exciting because up until that point I only knew how to do single crochets and increases and decreases. You are such a good teacher and I think I'm fully prepared to try the bobble stitch! I wanted to try making a pie hot pad and knew I wanted some dimension to my blueberries. Thank you from a 30 yr old in Texas! ♥️

As always, your video is fantastic!. I was having problems following a KZbin tutorial where I couldn't figure out how to proceed with the next row after a row with a few bobbles so after a few trials and errors I thought well, let's go see TuulaMaaria. Of course you have a great tutorial on bobbles AND the next row! Your instructions are really easy to follow. You are a great teacher! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. Merci beaucoup

Wow, what a clear and concise explanation of a pattern I thought would be too difficult. Well done, Tuula. I'm going to start a baby blanket for my first grandchild. And the wedding is not til June (hopefully). Getting a good head start during lockdown. Thanks very much for the motivation.

This was very helpful! I have a pattern that came with some scrubby cotton which uses this and I was having some trouble. I think pushing the bobble and adding a single crochet to tighten it will make the difference. Also, the row after the bobble seems very important. I’ll have to count more carefully to ensure I’m not adding stitches. Thanks for this great tutorial!

Thank you for that very clear explanation. I've always messed up my stitch count in the past when doing the next row, but you've solved that problem. Why does it need to be worked on a row of single crochet? Wouldn't a double crochet row work?
@TuulaMaaria Жыл бұрын
Double crochet rows are too high, it wouldn't bulge out the same!
@oakstrong13 жыл бұрын

Thank you so much for showing this! But I can't pull my hook through the yarn. The loops are too tight. How can i fix that?
@TuulaMaaria Жыл бұрын
If you find it too hard to make the stitches looser, you could take a larger hook, hope that works.
