New bugs appear all the time in all sorts of packages, including system level ones and kernel modules. With a GPU you'll see some much closer to the beloved 16 millisecond range. --- This is not personal experience, so I might be pulling these number out of no-where.

Its definitely something in the update as if I boot into emergency mode I can use snapper to go back before I do the update and then it is fine. I have tried to manually update packages separately to try and see what the issue could be but octopi, yay, pacman, pamac whatever wont let me install the updates separately, I have to do it all in one go. Thinking of trying Nobara...

24:45 yes, kdenlive calls ripple delete "extract clip", very confusing. It used to be the case that you had to add the shortcut to that manually, I guess now it's added by default. This said, the extract clip is an annoying a source of problems if you have some scattered clips on different tracks, because extract clip only moves to the left the clips from the track where you're doing the deleting, so it makes the tracks go out-of-sync with each other. I'm just deleting, and then use the move clips, which grabs the clips from all tracks, keeping them in sync. Would be nice if they had a genuine ripple delete.

I think the team behind Marvel Rivals saw just how many Linux users they had in general, and decided that they want to keep those players. I mean, would a company of their size decide to just outright deny themselves 10% or more of their player base only because they use Linux? Because many companies would not do that, and many other companies would do that, so I guess it's up to them. And if Linux players end up seeming to have more hackers, then maybe people could have Windows-only characters, and characters of anything-except-windows, and the two groups of characters could simply not be able to interact with eachother in-game, maybe except sending and receiving messages.
