Memories of living at home in 1986, turning on the TV and watching this in bed. Anne and Nick were dubbed a brother and sister partnership, and were fun to watch. RIP Mike Morris, Thank You for great interviews. To all the staff in the Diners Den for great times after college. Also to everyone I met in Carden Ward, especially Kim. Goodbye Maidie. RIP Alan Murphy, your music was brilliant. And to Peter Cox and Richard Drummie for the album Bangs & Crashes.

Some might not agree, but if breakfast TV was gentle and informative like this today, I'd actually tune in and watch it!

I don't remember this particular clip Between the ages of 6/7 and 11 I attended a private primary and remember getting up an watching Good Morning Britain from 6:25am to 8-8:30 before going to school. If I was off sick or on school holiday I would watch right to the end of the show at about 9:25,I remember the show after being The Time The Place hosted by John Stapleton then after 1988 This Morning, and after that there was Rainbow and the national and regional news for me regional news was Anglia News. There was short afternoon regional news news bulletin at 3:15. before birthday club and children's tv at 3:30pm. In between these there soap operas like. Take The High Road A Country Practice The Young Doctors Sons and Daughters and from 1988 Home Away, these were all programmes I watched with my late and her late neighbour.

Ah, proper breakfast telly. Nice. Gentle. Sofa's. Jumpers. Bit of Popeye. The world is too tense these days. The modern day namesake GMB is a whole world away from its ancestor. Sure, we need to know the news. But... sshhhh! Calm down. Enjoy the fresh morn. Let's have a look at some sweets being made, this Brexit malarkey can wait a while.
