In the distant future, scientists have built an underwater complex. Captain Mike Murphy oversees things with scientist Dr. Paul Williams. But a radiation leak from some old toxic waste barrels is not only threatening the complex, Captain Murphy's grandson is lost out there somewhere in the middle of it.

It’s amazing that the parody sequel Sealab 2021 lasted 5 seasons.

I enjoyed 2021 until the character of Capt. Murphy was written out of the show. It was never as good afterwards. RIP Harry Goz

One of my favorite 2021 episodes is when Capt Murphy gets bored and uses the emergency communications system to start a pirate radio station. 😂

My favorite 2021 episode is "The Policy". Marco: "We're not messin' with those nasty old skeletons!" Murphy: "You're an ass."

I was 6 years old in 1972. I seem to recall watching this show and being bored with it. When I saw the reruns years later, I was able to appreciate it. Hanna-Barbera was trying out drama cartoons with "Sealab 2020", "These are the Days" (A cartoon similar to "The Waltons") and "Devlin" (A drama/action cartoon capitalizing on the Evel Knievel craze).

I watched Devlin every Sat. morning. Evel Knievel was a big deal back then. I got an Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle for Christmas one year. Wish I still had it. Probably worth some money now.

I noticed how knowledgeable you were about scuba diving and gear while watching your Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea reviews. I watched this show as a little boy and it inspired me to break out my trusty world book encyclopedia and look up the different terms and underwater locations they mentioned. It's fun seeing this again. Thanks.

Ann Jillian also did an episode of "The Twilight Zone" where her character didn't say a word! Appropriately called "Mute."

I remember seeing ads for this show but I never actually saw it! Oh and back then 13 or so episodes was the usual amount for a Saturday Morning Kid's show. Getting a second season of new episodes was a rarity! Really enjoy these videos, David and your expertise with diving adds a lot to the shows that involve diving. I'll think about it next time I'm in the swimming pool (which is as deep as I go!)

I'm now super excited for Barbary Coast! Shatner and Doug McClure was a discovery in a compilation of one-season trailers. Sealab 2020 is good, but has me thinking of the Sealab 2021 voices. Ann Jillian was my crush from It's A Living and Jennifer Slept Here. Pamela Fermin was yet another crush when I was super young, and I just saw her in the Star Trek episode "And The Children Shall Lead."

Since were considering requests: Thundarr can't remember if it was one 'r' or two the Barbarian. Johnny Quest the original 60's series and now a treat for you which you may not have heard of called 'The Venture brothers' can't wait till you see this one. I just know you'll love it.

@@dwashbur Appreciate the work that you do. I'll look forward to seeing Planet of the Apes in your good time. Also remembered one more there's a 60's version of the Fantastic Four done by Hanna Barbera...wait until you see Galactus in this series! can't remember if they did the Impossible man in the cartoon or not. Ben Grimm is great with clobbering time...don't think you'll run out of fun things to review at least I hope not. ☺

Loved Thundarr the Barbarian! I have it on DVD and rewatched it as an adult. It's fun seeing all the pop culture references from the 1980s, Easter egged into the ruined landscape, thousands of years in the future.
