Forget Judi Dench...........Brian Blessed shaved and sober, now that's nostalgia

Always loved this piece of music even though it usually meant "It's time for you to have a bath and get ready for bed."
@sandmboy17 жыл бұрын
Vanda Jensen same for mebut also applies mission impossible and the man from uncle both of which I could hear from my bedroom whilst reading under the covers.I did get to watch the very last series in the newfangled colour TV!

Van Der Valk was another great cop show and brilliant theme tune, I used to love that show but hated the end cos you knew exactly where your next stop was, BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
@winstonmiller96495 жыл бұрын
I always thought I was the only kid who had to go to bed when this theme music came on. You know what it's like! You just don't considered that some other poor kid living miles away would be enduring the same, "it's bedtime!!" torture. I'm glad to finally learn I wasn't alone. Nice to meet you. I'm from Stonebridge Pk, N.W. London. You?? My bedtime treat was falling asleep to Radio 4. 🏃♂️🛀🏿 🛏.🎶Mum? Wot.!! It's the Clitheroe kid...

Thanks, Vanda, for a little chuckle. Nothing takes me back in time more than a piece of music. With some people a certain smell takes them back in time, but for me it has always been sounds, not necessarily music.

Ah Vanda, so many memories, never considered at the time other children were being sent bed to this music !! Always loved this theme tune and still do, thanks for the memory and a chuckle !

This show and Maigret were fabulous. Then Beyond the Fringe, Helen Shapiro Tell Me What He Said, Joe Brown Picture of You and Lonnie Dunnigan Rock Island Line. I lived in London in the early 60's and these were the best of times. Well other than the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Back in the 1960's cars owned by the Australian federal government had licence plates that started with a red "C" followed by 4 numbers. They eventually ran out of numbers and issued new plates of 3 letters, 3 numbers. The first letter was a red "Z". Guess what the cars became known as. Yes, Z CARS! Still have those plates today, still called Z Cars.
