I am an old woman. My children are all abroad and I go to visit them regularly. Their greatest fear (and mine) is me fall I’ll while in Nigeria. I pray daily not to have any major illness in Nigeria. Even some private hospitals are negligent. I pray for this young widow. God is her strength.

This is why I credit the Muslim community in Kisi, Oyo state. They set up an endowment fund to care for the orphans in that town and this is what welcomes you to any Mosque you go to pray in there - they continue to announce it. There's also a tuition-free school, kiddies up secondary school. This is a community self-help model other communities should seek to replicate.

Oh no, WAPA is free, the government even empowers people who were participants…. Usually what happen is many instructors try to make money from the program because the allocated budget is usually cut short from the ministry………. Our problem is greed

I really pitied her, all those people showing off helping people should take her case up and help her and the kids. However the doctor needs to be jailed simple. What happened to her can happen abroad too, the only thing is that if the racism card is not played the doctor will go to jail and the state will compensate her that's if she did not sue the hospital. Government hospitals are nothing but zero. Nobody checks anything. Doctors and nurses are so of their duties that they're getting paid for. I had a terrible experience in LASUTH in 2003 when l gave birth to my first child. She was mismanaged by a doctor for a mere mild jaundice as diagnosed by the matron on duty, which caused us everything and resulted to severe cerebral palsy. As l type, she has gained nothing in term of speech, mobility, personal skills, still on diaper at 20yrs. It is such a hopeless country.

Our Doctors and nurses are the meanest and harshest in the world. They are so mean and nin challant. My brother's wife was sent home from Luth after having a child and suffering from embolism. They discharged her despite she was struggling to breathe. We kept taking her back and they kept sending her away until she died. She was 26 years old.

I also lost a family at Hospital because one doctor feels he should be off oxygen which was already paid for. Just some next day in the morning after removal he struggled to breath he was actually neglected as no nurse was beside him to start cpr by the time a relative asks for him and a nurse checked him the cpr was late and he just died, Nigerian doctors are terrible
