She was very careful not to take complete sides, but at the same time you kind of got the idea who the problem was within the conflict. I’m glad she’s still working. If you notice when the animated Martin turns into the real Martin after he plops into the chair, the cast surrounds him but they're not really there on the same set. Look closely. Whilst I do think the last two season were funny,(IMO) I agree with the consensus that seasons 1-3 were considerably better. Astronomically better lol. A good question is "Why Do We Still Care?" I'll tell you why. When a show for US is this good, we will support it, FOREVER! Can you hear me Good Times, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Sons, What's Happening, Living Single, A Different World, 227, Hell, even Baby I'm Back!" We care because we want our shows to last as long as possible. We care because we REALLY DO CARE about the actors and characters they create... We care because deep inside we know how hard it is for shows for US to make it on TV in the first place; we care because we appreciate the time, effort and skill it takes to be SPECIAL... That entire cast was special; one of a kind special; literally lightning in a bottle; THAT'S WHY WE CARE. A reboot would be awesome; even with respect to Tommy not being there (Rest his soul; what a nice guy; met him right before he passed at an event he gave at a college in Arlington, Tx). I dont care about the messy end, though it was sad... the truth will probably never come out; even if it did... at this point, SO WHAT... all parties have appeared to grow, forgive, mature, and move on. If they find themselves in a position to work together again as a unit, I'm ALL IN... Thanks to the ENTIRE CAST for making Television HISTORY... Thats why we care... Be safe, everyone, and stay healthy.

Seasons 2 and 3 are definitely the peak of the show. Without those seasons there really is no legacy for the series. Season 1 was slightly rough though still mostly entertaining. But seasons 2 and 3 is when the writing and the entire ensemble came into their own, the show became more brazen and it became pretty consistent. The first half of season 4 is solid and contains some of the show's best installments. But it did start to lose its freshness and was more hit and miss. Most of season 4's second half and the entirety of season 5 was a mess. Very few truly quality episodes, and the spark was just gone.

Like what most who does both always say. You make more money on TV and in most cases, you work a set schedule (similar to a 9-5).In music, if you don't work in the business side of things, you are working long, odd hours that can change at any time. Also, if all you do is sing, you only make the money off of touring because no one makes money off of studio albums unless you are independent.

Martins personal life told it all. His marriage ended. he passed out while jogging. He got caught waiving a pistol. He directed one of my favorite movies."A Thin Line" with Regina King. Martin was very thin and sickly looking in that movie. He was definitely on something. I do believe what Tisha said about him. When people get on drugs they become a entirely new horrible person. Stiil a big fan of Martin's for life but he is to blame for things ending badly. Glad they all seem to have made peace since Tommys death.

That last episode of Martin. That last scene of Jenna leaving out of the apartment as Pam was coming out of the bedroom. Pay close attention to her facial expressions. It spoke multitudes. I wish Tisha and Martin would put the rumors to bed. From everything I've seen & heard, Martin and Tisha had been good friends for years. Their chemistry on the show was real-- and the audience could tell. Martin and Tisha had a flirtatious vibe that kept the show fresh. The kisses were real, and there was the kind of touching & messing around that happens when 2 people are cool, attracted to each other, but not dating. Then she started dating Duane Martin, and the kissing & touching wasn't cool anymore. Then when they got married, it really had to stop. Martin let the power go to his head and was like "this is my show, I do what I want." So she left. There wasn't much bad blood though, they settled the suit and she was on the last 2 episodes.

I think it was both before the marriage between Duane and Tisha I think Martin had always crossed the line with Tisha due to his fondness of her but she never really cared/noticed until the marriage because when she married Duane he most likely was on set and saw Martin crossing the line and didn't like it so he told Tisha to stop him and Tisha was prolly like it's cool this is normal it is all acting and Duane was like nah and told Martin to stop and that's when Martin got annoyed and stuck his tongue down tishas throat and she was done with it herself too because Martin went too far this time especially and Duane probably told her to file for sexual harassment against Martin so she did. Martin was prolly sad and already on drugs due to the marriage cuz he prolly did fall in love with her but it became too much when she filed against him put him over the edge. Too much was happening for him at that time. But now she ain't with Duane no more so they're all cool now so it definitely had to be him being a part in this not just martin

I believe Tisha and Martin were sleeping together or either liking each other. Tisha’s ex husband didnt like it so eventually Tisha tried to say Martin was harassing her. But this year AFTER tisha filed for divorce her and Martin suddenly became back cool so something crazy must have happened back then that her husband started. Because why would she become friends again after her divorce to somebody who so called harassed her. And made her eventually quit a show

Tisha and Martin use to fuck round throughout the span of the show regardless of one another’s relationship status, Martin became super famous, detached, entitled, arrogant and no longer discreet, He didn’t respect her marriage, to the point that he would continually make public advances, even sticking his tongue in her mouth and groping her during a scene, Tisha flipped on him and left, Her husband presumably found out about the incident and Tisha’s ongoing affair with Martin, Duane, Tisha’s husband then forbade her from continuing the show with Martin and demanded that she press charges. The case was later settled. Heard all that at the time it happened. Seemed very much like the truth to me then and even more so now.

She had dropped an album around the first season of _Martin_ and it really didn't do well. So in the meantime, her music career took a backseat. By the time they started filming what would be their last season, she alleged that Martin (possibly suffering from mental illness) was sexually harassing her. And that's when the lawsuit got placed, she and Martin no longer filmed scenes together (i.e. Gina in L.A while Martin in Detroit, vice versa) and she didn't appear after for a while until the series' finale. To make matters worse, only Shenehneh made sporadic appearances when Martin wasn't in character. The last season no longer had that spark. Still highly rated, but gone.
