I met Carl when we I was about 13/14 and he was 17/18 in the late 80s in Milwaukee WI. He was in a tented VIP after set to an event that me, my friend and my mentor attended. I worked on the Martin Lawrence show in the early 90's as a driver (props)... Their stage # was 31 at Universal Studios... I remember when Carl locked his son in the back seat of his vehicle (his son was still in his car seat) Tiny Lister was there and he was ready to break the window... Martin Lawrence walked by and asked me what was going on and when I told him he didn't seem to be interested or concerned at all and as we say "he kept it moving"
