I’m Gonna Have to go with Both 😅😅

Mmmm veery good comparison... But tbh the look of vector graphics in Moho often appears less natural compared to a raster style. In Clip Studio, for instance, vector lines feel more optimized because they look closer to rasterized lines, which adds a natural feel to the strokes. Additionally, Moho’s deformation system can be quite tedious when animating highly detailed elements, like complex folds in clothing or detailed hair, as managing so many points becomes labor-intensive. This process can be time consuming, especially in scenes with many poses or intricate details. Regarding Moho’s bone system and the Vitruvian Bones, while these provide flexibility, it can be limiting for frame by frame animation, as they require separate rig setups for each pose. This process can be tedious and time-consuming, especially in scenes with many poses. On the other hand, TVPaint feels more natural, especially for frame by frame animation, but it does require more manual work, like a final inking stage. This allows for a more hand drawn look, but it also slows down the workflow compared to more automated tools. Perhaps something like Cacani or Grease Pencil, which use AI to automate interpolations without needing to draw them by hand or deform keyframes, could significantly lighten the workload, especially in more traditional results where inbetweens require more attention to convey a specific pose or facial expression. However, AI is getting closer to achieving these same results. A good example is Adobe Illustrator with its new generation of image manipulation, where rotating a head now produces the result of its different rotations. If it doesn't convince you, you can modify it yourself, but you no longer have to start from scratch. Cheers.

So my choice goes to... Krita. :P It's free, and does what I need. I am intrigued by Grease Pencil in Blender. But haven't really gotten my head around its workflow .

From my experience the Grease pencil is really good for storyboards cause it can help with the 3d environment, but I hate coloring with it

Can you do Clip studio paint vs Tvpaint?

Tbh, CS is so much better and more precise than TVPaint because it offers vectors, AI tools, 3D capabilities, and a large community to share numerous assets.

you are comparing very different softwares that aim at two very different things... i dont really see the point in this
