I just found out that Henry’s sister fought with the OT13 antis attacking him on Facebook back during the early days and Henry felt touched. They really have a loving sibling relationship.

Back then henry got a lot of hate because he join the group super junior M and the fan didn't like the fact that SM add a new member in the group (I think kyuhyun got hate before for the same reason).

Yeah it was so heavy. Hundreds of people camped outside of SM for hours and hours in protest with banners that said “ONLY 13” or “MUST 13” and went as far as trying getting their money together and become a stockholder so they could have the power to remove Henry if they wanted. Luckily because SM is so expensive they were only able to afford like 0.7% or something like that. However, SM decided not to make him part of the original SUJU line but just part of SUJU Chinese unit. My heart still breaks for him for going thru that. It was pure hatred and the ot13 were so fucking crazy and rude against him. He didn’t deserve it and I’m so glad he’s so loved by the new stan generations. He’s now one of the best idol variety personalities and so genuine and funny. He’s hilarious and I hope he can continue to conquer more international and Korean fans.😭🙏🏼❤️

redfullmoon not at all. SUJU already had Chinese members, and the Chinese SUJU unit was made up of the original Chinese members and Henry was gonna debut as an official member. I think fans didn’t want new members and just didn’t like the idea of changing the original SUJU lineup. The arrangement were supposed to be like NCT’s Chinese unit: WayV, three new Chinese members (Hendery, Xiaojun and Yangyang) debuted in WayV among the rest of the Chinese NCT members that are part of Korean NCT, and even though the three have never sung in a Kor an song under the name NCT, the fandom considers them NCT members. The scandal made for Henry’s debut was unnecessary and ridiculous. The Kpop community will forever be ashamed of the events.
