TVR Vixen fast road spec walk around

Today we take a look at the progress and modifications that have been made to the Super Sprint fast road TVR Vixen.
It won't be long until the key is turned for the first time and then it will be time for the first test drive on the road...

Just found Resto Nation, three years into a rolling resto/ upgrade to a series 2 vixen. I discovered issues too numerous to mention; that said, I’d be interested to see a bit more detail on the steering modification, as mine suffers from an uncomfortable amount of kickback. Steering column mounting is also interesting. Looking forward to seeing the wiring loom, as the factory one was designed by a crazed loon.

Thanks for the observations. I will try and cover the steering mods at some point. I’m pretty sure the loom will be made from scratch but as and when the project progresses I will update 👍🏻. Roll on first drive!

Its been well put together, the 1700 should give a healthy power and torque. Why not rotary it though?! 😂

Haha I’m sure the next tvr to be restored will go more extreme, I will make sure of it…
