Better than a VW Tiguan? Skoda Karoq review

I have owned a top spec Yeti 2 for ten years. Absolutely no problems so far. Looks as if it is just out of the show room! I am keeping it!

I have owned a Yeti for 8 years too and like most yeti owners, I am in love. YET, it twice has let water into the copilot floor twice. I thought I sorted the problems the first time but it came back and solution doesn't seem to be the same one. Pretty frustrating I have to say, reason why I have been eyeing a Karoq. Any input much welcomed. Cheers.

I agree with all your comments. I like the blandness, keeps the robbers away. Loads of cars near me have been stolen. Not mine.

The 2024 sportline cost around 100-125.000 AUD in Denmark for a 1.5 or 2.0 petrol. Eventhough this is an averange family car.. it's a bit expensive for a Dane to drive..

Can't understand Why there was no mention of the Tiguan..ie the Car its 'Cloned' from. Generally tho with Tiguan derivatives they cheapen the interior to save money. It looks impressive enough tho.

I’d imagine that it is because this Tiguan ‘clone’ as you put it, is actually on the MQB A1 platform, same as the T-ROC. The Tiguan shares the MQB A2 platform with the Kodiaq. Personally I can’t see the Tiguan’s relevance with this vehicle. Hope this helps.

I'd have it over a Tiguan - better VFM and there's only a small difference in quality between the two - Tim

The headline is misleading, this is comparable to the T-ROC, not the Tiguan. Tiguan is comparable to the Kodiaq.

Perfect? The infotainment system is from a 2015 Volkswagen. Steering wheel looks terrible. Not as nice on the outside as Ateca, Tiguan*, etc. The rear seats are good and so is the boot. Everything else is meh.

Have you driven one? It’s a decent car. Why would you compare anything about this car to the Touareg? It’s a 1/3 of the price. Apples and oranges mate. Your opinion is a bit mehhh.
