Yes this is true but with Roman captured along with Patton and Logan there is really no one to help Virgil out. There will be no logical or happy thoughts to help keep Virgil “calm” (sorry Virg). Making Thomas’ thoughts unclear. Yes they do all have equal amounts of tribute to Thomas but with Creativity(Ego,Pride) under control there will only be what Deceit wants making Virgil more anxious, making the mind scape dark with only the controlled creativity (who basically created the mindscape. (With some help from the others of course)) but yeah

@@band_fan0469 While for the most part I agree with it, there's still a couple of questions. For one, I honestly think Patton and Logan are just temporarily under Deceit's control. Notice the crazed look their eyes have and compare it with Roman's abd even Remus's more natural appearances. Plus if weapons would let Deceit control them, he probably would've stabbed Roman instead of persuading him. Also, how would Deceit have full control of Thomas if his thoughts are still unclear? As you've said, Virgil would start going on overdrive, which means he'd be the main force to stop Thomas from accomplishing what Deceit wants. Tell me, we don't just jump off an airplane without a parachute because of fear, right? Or we don't jump out of a moving car or not wear clothes in public. Fear and anxiety play a key role to obstruct thoughts from being actions. I feel like that's why Deceit targeted Virgil before (in the flashback before they ran to the palace). Plus, Deceit and Anxiety go hand in hand since we lie mostly because of other's views on us, and those assumptions are based on anxiety.

WinterCrystal 1009 i believe in some ways we are both right for we both make great points. This is definitely a ruse to get to Virgil to go back to being a dark side. If Virgil went on overload he wouldn’t be less than anxious he would become the thing he doesn’t want to be. Paranoia.

I swear the next sanderside episode is going to be almost exactly like this! Like it makes total sense to me! And it can also be a lesson to never trust and evil ex-friend or be filed by your wishes. But I think Roman is Hurt as a darkside, like hurt is his name...welp I can't Express my opinion in text but nobody will know what I am talking about in RL cause I am the only one watching sander sides (the literal episode) and shipping the sides together in my school/household.

@@RoseIsPlaysGames - But the thing; the so called "dark sides" aren't actually evil. Heck, Anxiety used to be one of them in the past before Thomas, Patton, Logan and Roman accepted him into their little friend group. Another thing: it has been stated in canon that Deceit is Thomas's "self-preservation coach", and that Remus is just his darker creative side (who is also Roman's twin brother, might I add), coming out through Thomas's "Intrusive Thoughts". Also, neither Deceit or Remus seem to *actually want* to cause Thomas harm. And there's also the fact that Virgil referred to the other "dark sides" (Deceit, Remus, and possibly two more sides that haven't been revealed yet) as "The Others", shortly before confessing (and ultimately confirming in canon) to Thomas that he was, indeed, one of Them. Yes, it is true that the newest two sides we've been introduced to have shown some ..... questionable motives and morals. However, they do both still seem to want to aid Logan, Virgil, Roman and Patton in having Thomas addressing his issues in their own little unique ways.

I also ship princxiety! And I think instead of kissing Roman immediately after he snapped, Virgil tries to talk Roman out of Deceit's control. After failing multiple times Virgil gets a panic attack and Roman tries to calm him and Roman broke half out of the control of Deceit. Then Roman struggles to get in full control over himself again ,THEN Virgil kisses him! UwU
