Man I'd love to see you have a belt grinder 2x72 or 2x48 etc

I have a little crappy 4" belt grinder. I really would like to get a bigger 6" setup with some more power. Running out of room in this garage though lol

Another great video my dude. I’ve heard you mention that bad argon a couple different times and was wondering if you were going to go back to some of the welds you did with the first bottle and touch them up. Then I seen on your facemail that you had started going back to some of them.

Yeah I did. I am going through the process now of cleaning them up. I grind the high spots back with a 120 grit flap disc. Then I use a Blue 4.5" scotchbrite on a grinder to remove any surface scratch. Then after that I hit the surface with a buffing pad and black polishing compound. It comes out like a mirror. Then I go over all the welds and just lay a nice consistent cap on them. They look much... MUCH better.

How do you figure out how far to put the cats away from the turbos to light off fast but not burn to a crisp?
@LoudandProudBSE3 жыл бұрын
I figured at the headers its gonna be like 1500f max. After the turbines it should be at least down to 800-900f. Then I put about 5' of pipe after for good measure lol. Once you get the carryovered fuel burnt off you drop in temp a good bit. The cats may be a bit cold loping around... but it won't do that often.

A good cat cost no power. A bad cat can cost a lot.
