Got one from Thomann this week, Only took 3 days to ship to US. It has a permanent spot on the board. Fells very amp-like under the fingers. cleans up with touch or volume pot. all I can say is WOW!!

Damn, I love that sound. That and Supro which has the same 'Don't crank me any louder or I'll pop!' sound. This is another contender against the Catalinbread Formula No. 55. They're both very similar. A couple of others I was looking at were the Supro Drive, Benson Preamp, Hudson Broadcast, and Mythos Chupacabra. They all basically do that fuzzy drive sound. Fantastic demo mate. Thanks for posting.

You make great demos, and you’re an amazing player. I recently got a Falcon and I’m loving it. The Deluxe setting is a bit exaggerated in my opinion. The sag and loose bottom are part of the amp’s charm, for sure, but this pedal goes too far for me. Now the Princeton setting, wow! I’m blown away. Into a slightly dirty amp with the volume around noon it is glorious, and cleans up beautifully. I guess I’m using it more as an overdrive than an amp in a box, but I love the character and personality it adds. Killer demo, killer pedal.

I'm the lucky one and I have that old 6G2 Princeton (black version from 1964). The parts are almost all changed (tubes, transformers and condensers) but the sound is the same as it was before the changing, even better I would say. I've heard demo even on another channel and I must say that the '61 mode really has that 6G2 feel.

dill doe I should get it by next week so I'll know then! I chose this pedal after seeing clips of the Formula 55, this one seems to approximate the sag effect and craziness better, but also had the option of the '61 side. It also cleaned up really well with the guitar volume in this vid. Hoping to experience the same on my rig!

I just got mine yesterday. This is a great sounding pedal and is the best tweed in a box pedal I have. I own the Wampler Tweed 57, Catlinbread Formula 55 and the Mad Professor Little Tweedy. The Falcon is the best. It's not supposed to a have a lot of sustain like a fuzz pedal has but I'm sure you could get that with some sort of boost before it. I haven't tried stacking it yet. I've been having way to much fun exploring what the pedal can do on its own.

OK good but no Cigar. It has a decent smooth tube sound, but no more than a TS808. The one thing not mentioned everywhere is that there is no 9V battery in this unit. It requires an external 9V 40ma power brick/cube with a +( - ) connector. So if you play 10-15 feet in front of your amp you need to find an extra outlet besides you amp and then run a long length of wire to power it. The pedal could be great, but that will be a sure show stopper for most. I paid 185.00 us for it and then returned it. For the money I will look for a TS808.

I agree. It sounds good like a lot of pedals do. At a certain point they all become another buzzy box. This one has some nice tonality when cleaner, but this guy would make anything sound good.
