Mad props! That was my favorite Tweek tournament-run, more than his LMBM wins. I just really enjoyed seeing Tweek make a run to Top 4 in an seriously up hill battle. The Top 4 is made sweeter by the difficulty.

Tapu Diddy: Fairy Fighting type He's got a diddy kong hat (like the red hat on tapu bulu) and he is holding a peanut gun and a banana gun His signature move is Jungle Pummel. He flips across the screen and cartoonishly maims the target (fighting type attack) for massive damage Holding the new item banana peel increases all of his damage by 20% and gives a 10% chance to flinch per attack His ability is new: K+ When using any move or item involving a banana, heal 5% of your hp each turn.... essentially giving his item a damage buff and a leftovers effect His Z move (if applicable) is Two Fisted Slam. He flies into the air and puts all of his force into a his two fists and slams the enemy with a guaranteed chance to paralyze the target (fighting type attack) Also change he for it because I am too lazy and all of the tapu's are genderless

2.5 Corrins in Genesis top 8 and players still wanna call her mid lol. Apparently thinking Corrin is good at this rate is only because of "recency bias." As if the character wasn't getting top level results for 2 freaking years (and it keeps getting better). I say 2.5 because Sparg0 won games with Corrin as a secondary. That's crazy.

In response to Charles talking about weight and top tiers. I've always thought that Smash Ultimate devs should have looked at physics to help balance characters like weight, fall, air, and run speed more than just frame data and kill power. Imagine giving Seph a little more weight, ganon more air speed, or Squirtle better fall speed. These little tweaks could make a larger difference than frame data for characters trying to break into the next tier.

If Tweek is having epiphanies about Cloud gameplay in Ultimate (like the use cases of certain moves such as up air, side tilt, etc.), maybe time to reconsider Cloud as a secondary??!! I know he has said no to this in the past, but I think about it a lot for him, and I think it might be a good fit. In particular, Cloud could help him with just a few tough practical matchups like Steve (Acola/Miya), Wario (Glutonny), maybe Fox if Light gets the edge back, maybe Pac Man if Tea gets the edge back, maybe Samus if she becomes a problem, etc. I mean, obviously if the spark isn't there, never mind, but I think it's an interesting idea.

Something I rarely see people mention is how much harder it is for acola to win in the US compared to Japan. In Japan, his only real threat is Miya, no one else has proven capable of beating him outside of a fluke best of 3 at a local. Whereas in the US, he has to go up against Sparg0, Sonix, Zomba, and potentially Miya if he attends as well. Acola is AWFUL vs these players and he knows this, it's part of why he didn't attend Genesis, all 4 of those players were in attendance. He'd rather protect his position at #1 and not risk losing to one of those players because it's extremely obvious he doesn't stand a chance against them at this point in time.

Yo allow me to say regarding Legends Z-A predictions, my only prediction is that you ain't predicting nothing xd. What does the fact that Legends Arceus had a starter trio be a mix from 3 different starter trios, say to you? That there are no rules, they do whatever they find suitable. The fact that Legends Arceus was in an Ancient time and Legends Z-A is in a city? (unless there's bait in there lol) There are no patterns, they do whatever they find suitable. Even if you tried to draw starter trios from logic, you got 1. Unlikely to be a starter that already has a mega (no gen 1 nor gen 3), 2. Unlikely to be a gen 6 starter, 3. Unlikely to belong to any starter trio featured in Legends Arceus (no gen 2, 5 nor 7). You would be supposing you can predict that it's certain to be gens 4, 8, and 9. Tbh, don't even be surprised if the starters end up not being from any starter trios to begin with 'cause in the end, they're gonna do whatever idea they liked when they thought of it.
