Grey's qualified encouragement of new KZbinrs is very inspiring. Taylor Swift says "follow your dreams" and I'm like meh whatever, but Grey says "try it, and get feedback", and somehow it's so much more useful. Thank you Seejeepee for taking the time to think about what advice to give people.

I second that motion! Actually, it would be interesting to hear our heroes' opinions on the topic of artificial languages (e.g. Esperanto), especially Grey's who should be a fan of efficient communication. But then again maybe they've already discussed this and I've just forgotten? If so, I'd appreciate a pointer.

20:05 Regarding gaming the system, I will defend the kids that it is important to know how long a video needs to be to flourish in KZbin's algorithm as well as current game trends/scandals etc if it is relevant but other than that I agree that them aiming to try to completely game that system is a bad idea. (Especially since if you are uploading from the U.K. or USA your odds plummet because of the algorithm)

asdas safasd if you ever find I physical copy you have to tell me where! There should have been a first edition printed, but knowing Grey that’s it if that much. Good news is his old website said every electronic copy comes with an hour 1on1 time with the author 😆 wonder if he’d honor that

@@MrAidanFrancis I had learned it as 12 leaping lords, 11 dancing ladies, 10 pipers, 9 drummers, etc To me it made more sense that 12 would be lords, because each consecutive day "my true love" was escalating the value of the gifts they were sending. (Lords are more valuable that drummers, right?) Granted it seems the version I learned as kid is less popular, even if Wikipedia references that it is an older ordering.

I would be surprised if Mars ended up splitting into nations, if only because for a long time at the beginning the population there will be so small. I think there may be multiple colonies, but if they ever aim for full statehood, they would have to pool together to get the numbers needed for a sustainable population. Which is like... 10,000 people give or take? Most likely you'd need to combine every colony on Mars to get even close to that number.

24 Minute Mark. No the bald Eagle is not awesome Grey! Don't be fooled. I am a true American so i'll let you in on a secret, *whispers* Ya ever notice it only shot in side profile or certain angles? That's because 90% of the pictures taken of them make them look real derpy. Bald Eagles are one of the dumbest looking birds you can find.
