An odd quirk of mine…….it drives me crazy when epoxy is referred to as “drying”. Epoxy doesn’t dry….it cures. Aside from that I really enjoy your videos😂. Hope to someday build one of your planes. Cheers!

Bien. Buen video. Trabajo prolijo y buena imagen. Podría decirme UD. Que marca de pegamento o resina usa para ensamblar y pagar las partes? Muchas gracias y adelante

I'm looking forward to building my 202 and having such great resources to help me along the way such as this very helpful video of making ribs. Hard to find this with other aircraft kit makers. Thanks

20 minutes after a kazillion hours of pre-cutting hundreds of parts, building a jig and rounding up all the peraphernalia needed to keep them in order...but a very nice video from a great company! I like that you don’t spend another kazillion hours cutting gussets to hold the ribs together.

Interesting, I agree with Pam about all of the kazillion hours spent setting up, grading the lumber, calculating the grain angles, cutting all those pieces, making jigs etc. Probably the one thing that makes you feel like you’re looking into someone’s high beams at night. I saw a video about a guy who built a Pietenpole....he said it took him 10 years! Just a side note, from what I understand you are NOT supposed to sand the wood where it is to be joined as it produces a much weaker joint.

The FP101 wing spars were also built in a similiar fashion.This style of construction is a very good option for places where plywood is not available.And there are such places.Which airfoil is this?
@fisherflyingproducts57473 жыл бұрын
Wing spars are no longer recommended for Geodetic construction. All of our spars use plywood now.

What is the thickness of the geodesic pieces?
@Firearcher745 ай бұрын
Geodetic: of or relating to Geodesic. Usually an adjective.

Does grain orientation on the rib caps matter?
@fisherflyingproducts57474 жыл бұрын
Yes. Grain should be horizontal.

Definitely gonna stick to aluminium and rivets...this is a little....much...unless you use a build center.
