It puzzles me to hear that some of the former east Germans miss the GDR. Erich Hoenecker was a tyrant and a half. He was lucky that the mob did not catch up with him.

If the red/ blue state araingment in the U.S. doesn't stop: it will soon require a passport to go from 1 state to another. We are next.

It's just a mix thing from what I get. It's oppression and a Orwellian state. But if you're ordinary, not exactly a outstanding person , a mundane life it's nothing. You live a boring wickedly oppressed mundane life.
