In this video I install an AMAZON Basics - Electronic Deadbolt Lock. It was fairly simple to install and set-up. This electronic deadbolt lock is great for your home as well as rental and vacation properties. You don't need the keys! Just a combination for entry. Thanks for watching.

To all of those asking how to program the pin: -Type in factory set code (normally 0000 or 1234) -Press the lock/unlock button -Press “1” -Press the lock/unlock button -Type in your desired code -Press the lock/unlock button *If you want to change a pin you have already set yourself, do this same process, except change the first step from 0000 to the pin you previously set* *Hope this helps!* 😊

Why is it that when I close the door to lock and press in my user code to unlock, the lock is making some kind of looping sound as if its stuck and so it doesn't even unlock, I have to use the key

Might need the keys if the battery go died or power outage
